China Public Holiday 2025

The General Office of the State Council has issued the official public holidays in China for 2025.


There are currently seven official public holidays in China, which are:

  • New Year’s Day, January 1 (one day).

  • Spring Festival, from January 28 to February 4 (eight days), with two make-up days on January 26 and February 8.

  • Qingming Festival, from April 4 to 6 (three day).

  • Labour Day, from May 1 to 5 (five days), with one make-up day on April 27.

  • Dragon Boat Festival, from May 31 to June 2 (three day).

  • Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day from October 1st to 8th (eight days), with two make-up days on September 28 and October 11.
