Italy Meets Hunan 21 Feb
We are pleased to inform you about the seminar “Italy Meets Hunan" organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, which will be held on February 21st, 2023.
The seminar aims to provide Italian companies with the opportunity to explore the Chinese market or expand their operations in the region. It offers a platform for constructive dialogue between Changsha institutions and Italian companies already present in the region, as well as introducing new Italian businesses to the area and helping them understand the advantages of developing their presence there.
Hunan Province is located in south-central China, and it lies in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Its economy is based on the extraction of mineral deposits and on a broad industrial diversification in the steel, chemical and petrochemical sectors. Recognized for tea cultivation, tourism and cultural center, it also serves as a base for several industrial groups. Changsha is the capital and the most populous city in the province. With a population of 66 million, the province covers a total area of 210,000 square kilometers.
