Vietnam’s PMI April 2024
According to the latest report by S&P Global Market Intelligence, the purchasing manager’s index (PMI) for Vietnam’s manufacturing sector rose to 50.3 in April from 49.9 recorded in March.
It was the fourth time of growth in factory activity in 2024 as new orders returned to increase, and the rate of expansion was the fastest since August 2022.
Meanwhile, input costs have continued to rise, but at a moderate rate, which has allowed producers to remain competitive in the international market.

The ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has a combined GDP of USD 4.2 trillion, according to estimates for 2024.
